SUMMER CAMP POLICIES
Whether you are attending summer camp, taking private lessons or having a one of a kind water party, it’s important that everyone stays safe.
We’ve put some important policies in place so everyone is on the same page.
Please make sure to read all the policy rules carefully.
1. REQUIRED EQUIPMENT & SAFETY
For safety, the following are mandatory during all water activities:
- Water shoes (no flip-flops, no bare feet)
- USCG-approved life jacket provided by Camp (must be worn at all times regardless of swim ability)
- Rash guard and sun cap
Campers arriving without water shoes will not be permitted to participate that day. No refund or credit will be issued.
Each camper is issued: 2 rash guards, 1 sun cap, 1 rain poncho, 1 BPA-free water bottle. Camp property, including life jackets, may not be removed from the premises.
Parents must provide: full water bottle, towels, change of clothes, sunscreen, and additional snacks if needed.
2. BEHAVIOR & DISMISSAL
Campers must follow all safety instructions, participate in stretching and safety briefings, and show respect to staff, campers, and property. Profanity, fighting, bullying, or destruction of property are prohibited.
Discipline policy:

2. Time-out
3. Suspension for the day
4. Dismissal from camp without refund
Parents are financially responsible for damage to camp property caused by their child. No refunds will be issued for dismissal due to behavior.
3. ACTIVITIES & SCHEDULING
Camp Maritime is a multi-sport watersports adventure camp. Campers complete one watersport per day, 3-5 activities per week, with a maximum of 14 campers per group.
Activities are subject to change or cancellation due to weather, water conditions, maintenance, or instructor availability. Camp operates rain or shine with indoor alternatives provided. Campers may not repeat the same activity all week and must remain with their assigned group unless reassigned by staff.
Campers who are ill may not attend.
4. PAYMENTS, REFUNDS, CREDITS AND TRANSFERS
All registrations submitted after April 15 are final and non-refundable.
Registrations completed on or before April 15 are eligible for refund if requested in writing before April 15.
Once the enrollment period begins, no refunds, credits, or make-up days will be issued for any reason, including but not limited to illness, injury, COVID/quarantine, family emergency, or vacation.
No refunds, credits, or transfers will be issued once camp has been attended for any reason, including if the camper chooses not to continue.
Enrollments are non-transferable. Weeks may not be transferred to another child, family, or to a different week or year.
If a camper attends on an unscheduled date due to registration error, accommodation is subject to availability only.
